Apartment Review for Soma Residences - San Francisco, CA

ok first you should know that if your unit is facing minna st then walk away...(run if you have to) this is the ghetto street "people" like to hang around and shout in their conversation, my unit was on the 4th floor - the top floor and I can hear them loud and clear and its very annoying especially at night when you are about to sleep. you'd then woke up annoyed at 4 AM! yes that early in the morning because the garbage truck give you a surprise visit every morning to unload the trash. basically you will wake up by the clanking and clonking of the steel dumpster door banging each other. One more complaint, I purposefully cleaned the apartment just like it was when I received the unit. but what do you know they still took $180 out of my deposit... I fought hard for them to consider giving some back because I think I deserve it. they talked about there will be "some" cleaning fee when I schedule the initial inspection, I thought it would just be around $30 but they never say until they sent you the check voila $180 gone! just like magic... I felt cheated so I can only write this review and hope that it would help anyone whose looking into Soma residences in SF. yes that apartment name I will never forget... sadly..
