Apartment Review
Reminds me of the College Dorms
Review Date: 3/29/2007 Reviewer: Anonymous
I pretty much echo the sentiments of the 2/5/07 reviewer. The first month I was there I had my locked bike stolen from the bike rack in the garage. I filed an incident report with management and never heard back. Communicating with management is very difficult. I'd estimate the odds are 3 to 1 at any given time that nobody is in the office. On weekends, it's more common than not for the sole employee to call in sick or hungover. This makes it difficult for renters who work during the week to get most matters resolved. One can of course call them during the week, but typically there is no answer and calls are seldom returned. There are the temporary security guards but it's nowhere close to 24/7, the guard is there closer to 50% or less of the time. There are definitely loud parties and typically no way to shut down teh noise short of calling the police. The complex reminds me a little of living in the college dorms: lots of students, lots of parties, the hallways smell like an Amsterdam coffee house and once in a while the fire alarm is pulled in the middle of the night, as if to celebrate the end of finals. |
