Apartment Review for Lakewood Apartments At Lake Merced - San Francisco, CA

I have been living here for two years. Within those two years our apartment flooded because a waterline broke in the garage, they were so wonderful with fixing everything, I can't thank the staff enough. However, my car has been broken into 3 times in the "secure" parking garage, and has been blamed on the economy. This year (2009) our rent was raised the MAX San Francisco allows, which was surprising since I know for a fact due to the recession, a lot of buildings have decided to NOT raise prices. We found a larger apartment (159 SqFt MORE than our current home), across from West Lake in Daly City for LESS than we are paying now.
