Apartment Review for 626 Bush Ltd. - San Francisco, CA

They're some cozy little apartments that I would say are pretty cost effective in this city given their location... very cute, very private. The only downfalls is that they're all single occupancy only and it has INCREDIBLY lazy management. There is only one on site so-called manager who seems to work part time, but part time in this sense seems to be about 2 hours a week... no I'm not kidding. She basically doesn't seem to have any managing experience and only collects the checks, if you call the apartment you'll find no one is ever there to answer the phone, the message mail box is full and cleared probably once every two weeks etc. If a light is broken in the community hallway it will stay broken for 3 months, if you need maintenance you will wait apx two months. If they say they will do something they will never give you a date, and what makes it worse is that no one will call to follow up or confirm anything and requests are often ignored. They have a secured entrance so you need to buzz people in to get in, the list with the tenan'ts names on it hasn't been updated since last year..I have no idea how the "onsite manager" got her job or gets to keep her job to be perfectly honest, but the apartments might as well have no management at all. On the other hand, the sluggish knuckle dragging means they usually cash the check late (which by the way you have to slip under m.i.a manager's door and get no receipt for) around the 15th and they don't seem to charge you if you drop it off around then at least from my experience, could just be a case of the onsite manager being too lazy to write me up though.
